3 words to describe this film: historical, tragedy, beautiful
My thoughts: I picked up this movie because it was a recommendation for films similar to Game of Thrones on a blog that I was reading. But, this is a whole different piece than Game of Thrones. It does have the same concept of revenge and plots of murders to gain power, but this film presents this content, in my opinion, through a Shakespearean way. Poetic. Not only does the plot and beautiful characters reel you in, but I was glued to the screen because of the costumes – absolutely stunning!
