September brought a wind filled with new adventures with old friends, and new ones. My tired legs took me through Hollywood Blvd. and up to the Hollywood sign. I saw letters from serial killers decorate the walls of small rooms and narrow hallways. I spent nights crying over my past love. But, not all nights. The others were spent thinking of a new romance. My days have been littered with lifting weights and jiu jitsu; in between were chaotic notes of poly-atomic ions and chemical equations.
Celtic Playlist: For some reason cold weather makes me turn to my Celtic and World Folk playlists. It makes me feel as if there is magic in the air. I like to grab some tea, a cardigan, and open up the windows to feel the cold breeze while listening to this music.
Lana Del Rey – 13 Beaches: I connect with this song. I listen to this when I think of my ex; it makes me sad, but it also makes me hopeful. She talks about how she still loves this person even though it hurts, but in the end everything is ok, even if she is without that person.
Westworld: I’ve already seen this show, and it is mind-blowing! If you like Game of Thrones, you’ll be sure to like this HBO show. I’m re-watching it, and I love every bit of it. The acting, characters, story-line, costuming, and the music.
Claire Michelle: I’ve only watched her latest videos. Her cinematography and sound is artistic. They are great to start the day with or end the night because it makes you think creatively or it simply makes you think positively. It inspires me to live simply as well.
It Comes at Night: It’s almost October, and I love to watch horror films to get me in the mood for Fall. This film is more of a thriller though, but I really enjoyed it. I think some people might feel like it was a waste of time though. It did have the perfect creep factor for me to feel excited for October!
The Gym: This place has been my therapy. I now spend at least 2 hours there for a workout. I also discovered that a friend works out at my gym, so I’m excited to start working out with her. I’ve been dying for a gym-buddy.
Chemistry 104: I’m actually not a huge fan of chemistry, but this class has distracted me from my painful breakup. It keeps me also from staying home and choosing to do nothing.
Vinted: An online thrift shop. Also, an app. I haven’t bought anything from this app just yet, but I’ve saved so many things on my wishlist. The only reason why I haven’t bought anything is because I like to first try to see if I can find my desired piece at my local thrift stores for a cheaper price, but that being said – this is probably the cheapest place you’ll find your pieces online, and one of the most ethical!

Note: Goodness, where has this month gone? Honestly, it went by so fast, and I’m not completely disappointed with not accomplish my goals. It just wasn’t realistic for me to do any of the above with what I had going on this month. I’m going to reevaluate what really matters to me and what is achievable. Sadly, I would’ve liked to work more on my blog, but I haven’t had much time with school, work, social life, and fitness. I may have to make it to either one or two posts a week.
