I love this monthly diary series you’ve been doing! I enjoy everything about it, your recaps of the month, the aesthetics of it (I’m freaking out over them actually), the raw vulnerability and honesty you bring into it all, the photography… In regard to dropping your class – you did what you thought was best for you and that’s the best anyone can do! Your own mental health should ALWAYS be a priority, so go you for actually looking out for yourself – a lot of people ignore what they actually need and it ends up hurting them more.
To answer your question, I think August brought a lot of happiness for me. I am going away on a semester abroad from the middle of September, so it’s been important to me to spend a lot of time with my friends and family and just treasure those moments with them before I start a new chapter in a different country! I can’t tell you how much I liked this post (and your blog in general) xx
Fiona, youโre honestly the sweetest. It makes me want to keep doing them. And, I wanted to ignore it haha, but I was afraid that if I did, Iโd end up messing up my mental health and not do well in the class.
Thatโs so exciting! Where are you off to? And, yes, spending time with friends and family brings me plenty of joy as well โบ๏ธ
Sending you huge hugs. Sometimes we need to take a step back to take ten steps forward. Be kind to yourself. (I know it is easier said then done) You come first and you WILL get your nursing degree! It is interesting the people that come in and out of our life and those that step up or step away. I hope September is amazing for you! Sending you much love โค
Thank you! Youโre kind. And, I hope thatโs the case with me! Iโd really like to believe that I will ๐ I hope September goes well for you too! โค๏ธ
I actually love your honesty and I LOVE how you wrote your post creatively in the form of graphics rather than usual texts.Just one of my many favourite times of august was the BTS party that I attended!I can relate with the mental health issues, and I want you to know that it’s not easy, but you’re never alone.Take care of yourself and great post!xx
Nika, thank you so much for your kindness! It was fun to create! And, thank you for sharing, it helps to know that we aren’t alone in this. I’ll try my best. xx
It’s okay that you need to push back your schooling– your sanity and mental health is so important and everything will work out in time.
Super sweet that you double-dated with your boyfriend’s friend and your sister & that you’ve been discussing marriage!
Hunida, this means a lot to me! I’ve had some people judge me for taking a break and kind of scorn me for it. Hehe, and yes! Those have been the highlights for me this month ๐
I absolutely love how you presented this post – the colorful pictures with the text along with pictures of you, an amazing combination. Sometimes we have to put some things aside in order to be able to work on the rest. Your well being always comes first and if this felt like the best solution, then it WAS. You will obtain your nursing degree, this is not a dead road, it’s just a little stop (take a rest kind of) sign ๐ I wish you a peaceful month of September! โค๏ธ
I love how you layout your posts! So fun. And I agree, mental health is more important, and 1 semester will be nothing in the grand scheme of things ๐
Most memorable time for me is visiting France in August. At this time, anything goes for Sept. ๐
